Are Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt Calling Off Their Divorce?

Could Brangelina rise again?

The Hollywood rumor mill is churning with speculation that Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie will call off their divorce.

Apparently, Angie has been swayed by her estranged husband’s new perspective on life…

Brad and Angelina announced their divorce in September 2016. They cited “irreconcilable differences” but gossipy reports claimed Brad had physically abused their son Maddox aboard a private plane.

“Angelina will always do what's in the best interest of taking care of her family,” the actress’s rep said at the time.

But that was nearly year ago now, and the Hollywood power couple still hasn’t finalized the divorce.

And now Us Weekly reports Angelina is second-guessing the breakup.

“The divorce is off,” a source tells the magazine.

“They haven’t done anything to move it forward in several months and no one thinks they are ever going to.”

Us claims that Angelina set out to portray her husband as the villain in the relationship, with members of her inner circle “running a smear campaign” against him.

But the Maleficent actress soon regretted those actions, the magazine claims — perhaps because Brad seems to have done a lot of introspection in these intervening months.

“She’s still so in love with him,” the source claims.

In a GQ Style cover story this May, Brad owned up to his failings, saying he’s committed to being a better father these days — and not following the lead of his father, who never showed vulnerability.

“It’s hit me smack in the face with our divorce: I gotta be more,” the 53-year-old explained.

“I gotta be more for them. I have to show them. And I haven’t been great at it.”

The War Machine actor also revealed he had stopped drinking — and hadn’t had any alcohol in six months. (“Don’t want to live that way anymore,” he told the mag.)

“He got sober to try and win her back,” Us Weekly’s source says.

“He knew he had a problem that he had to take care of. And that’s all she ever wanted.”

For her part, Angelina opened up about the divorce in the September 2017 issue of Vanity Fair.

“Things got bad,” the 42-year-old said.

“I didn’t want to use that word … Things became ‘difficult. … We’re all just healing from the events that led to the filing.”

Anyway, Us’s source thinks the couple might publicly announce a reunion any day now.

“Everyone thinks they are going to get back together,” the insider says.

“It wouldn’t be surprising if they announced that they’re calling it off and trying to work things out.”
