Brad Pitt Wants to Keep His Custody Battle With Angelina Jolie Private (UPDATE)
UPDATE (12/07/16 at 11:09 a.m. ET):
Brad Pitt wants to keep his custody battle with Angelina Jolie as private as possible.
The 52-year-old reportedly filed court documents on Tuesday, December 7 requesting a hearing because he wants to seal all of their court documents moving forward, according to TMZ.
Original Story (12/06/16 at 7:48 a.m. ET):
Angelina Jolie and the kids may be trying to move across the pond.
While this move may be incredibly difficult, the 41-year-old has been consulting with two women in England who are supporting her government endeavors and giving advice.
Unfortunately for Angie, this move isn’t likely to happy because of her ongoing custody battle with the 52-year-old.
The pair have reached a temporary agreement after months of back and forth, as the judge has granted the Tomb Raider star sole legal guardianship.
According to legal paperwork, the Benjamin Button star will continue to have visitation with their kids — Maddox, 15, Pax, 13, Zahara, 11, Shiloh, 10, and 8-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne, according to Entertainment Tonight.
It’ll also be up to the family therapist to decide whether the kids want to see him, especially after his alleged altercation with Maddox months ago.
The actor will also need to participate in random drug and alcohol testing, and attend weekly therapy sessions with a counselor.
"Originally, Pitt had volunteered to do the drug and alcohol testing himself. But now that a judge has signed off on these docs, it has become mandatory and cannot be reversed without another court filing,” says a source.
The father of six spent Thanksgiving alone and he may have to do the same over Christmas, as it’ll be up to the children whether he sees them.
"If a child says they don't want to see Brad on Christmas, the psychiatrist isn't going to force them. That's the whole purpose of this agreement."
