Tenley Molzahn Reportedly Won’t Join Ben Higgins’ ‘Bachelor’ Season — Why?

Bad news for fans of drama and Tenley Molzahn: Looks like we won’t be having a Nick Viall part two on Bachelor 2016 as we’re hearing the Bachelor in Paradise star has no plans to show up on Ben Higgins’ season. Boo!

The recently-single gal — who broke up with Joshua Albers in the BiP Season 2 finale — was rumored to have been hooking up with Ben H. last month in the pair’s mutual home state of Colorado. However, new reports maintain Tenley won’t be following the Season 20 hunk onto the show.

NEWS: Let’s Figure Out Which Bachelor Alums Might Join Ben Higgins’ Season!

"She and Ben had the opportunity to get to know each other and I think if they connected on the level that Kaitlyn [Bristowe] and Nick did, it would be a different story," a source tells E! News.

And it’s not just that, apparently. The insider also shares that the 31-year-old beauty prefers to to “be pursued” — something we imagine she’s grown accustomed to after this past season of BiP, when Joshua, JJ Lane, and Michael Garofola all duked it out for her attention.

"She doesn't want to be put in the insecure position of competing with a bunch of girls," the insider continues.

We do, however, have some good news to make up for that. One of the biggest complaints coming out of Kaitlyn’s Bachelorette season was how much the producers changed up the usual format of the beloved show — from the weekly cliffhangers to the two Bachelorette twist. Luckily, that won’t be an issue on Bachelor next year, as sources say it’ll be a “very straightforward season.” But that doesn’t mean it’ll be boring!

When comparing Ben to his predecessor Chris, the insider notes, “Chris has a very set, solidified life, and he wanted a woman who could fit in with it. Ben, of the other hand, is completely flexible … He could move, he could change careers. He's very open to new places and new experiences. I think if he found the right woman, he'd be open to doing anything and doing anywhere she wants."

You don’t have to sell us on Ben — we’ve been fans since the beginning. Is it January yet?
