Are Bachelor in Paradise 2’s Tenley Molzahn and JJ Lane Dating?
It’s a fact of life — when two people co-star on something together, there’s always a chance they’ll be linked romantically in the press. But when it’s two cast members of Bachelor in Paradise Season 2, it’s sort of warranted to guess that, right? Well, not always…
Going off our intel, there are close to 30 former Bachelor and Bachelorette stars appearing on the spin-off at some point this season, all looking for someone to love — either for a few hours or for a lifetime. You can click over here to find out who exactly is hookin’ up, but seeing as Kaitlyn Bristowe’s Bachelorette 11 castoff JJ Lane and franchise fave Tenley Molzahn have been hanging out post-show, is this is a sign they’re dating in real life?
Well, let’s take a look at the evidence, shall we? Just this week, JJ took to Instagram to share a photo of himself, Tenley, and his 3-year-old daughter Gemma on the Heritage Square Alpine Slide in his home state of Colorado, sending Bachelor Nation-ers into a tizzy.
Why would Tenley be hanging out with JJ’s daughter if they weren’t in a relationship? Well, let’s let the lady herself answer that. In a post of almost the exact same pic, Tenley captioned, “Went back to a childhood favorite of mine with one of my best pals & his little lady today! Just one step closer to my bobsled dreams via Alpine slides! #sweetandfreelife #backtomyroots #colorado.”
See that, people? This reality beauty was just visiting her good friend in their mutual home state. And lest you doubt this is simply a platonic relationship, spoiler king Reality Steve is here to set you straight.
“Just because two people from the franchise post a picture together, or tweet to each other, or start following each other on social media doesn’t mean they’re in a relationship,” he writes on his most recent blog. He continues, “You know, like this past weekend when Tenley was in Denver and took a picture with JJ and his daughter and people are already emailing me asking if she’s dating him now. She’s not.”
So there you have it! BiP is about more than just finding a summer fling — lifelong friendships are being made down in Mexico, too!
Bachelor in Paradise Season 2 premieres Sunday, August 2 at 8 p.m. ET, and will continue in its normal timeslot on Monday, August 3 at 8 p.m. ET, on ABC.
