‘Bachelorette’ 2016 Season-Long Trailer: Brawls, Blood & Tears! (VIDEO)
At the end of last night’s Season 12 premiere, ABC dropped the super-sized preview of what’s to come, and by the way it’s edited, it seems just three guys require our attention this year: Chad Johnson, Jordan Rodgers, and Robby Hayes.
The three fellas get the majority of the airtime in the trailer — aside from JoJo herself, of course — both for good and bad reasons. Things start out positive in the trailer, showing the Dallas beauty kissing all of the above, as well as Luke Pell, Ali Zahiri, Chase McNary, and Alex Woytkiw.
But before long, the professions of love turn dark as the 25-year-old gal admits she’s always been drawn to “a bad boy.” Cue the Chad and Jordan Show.
Aaron Rodgers’s younger brother appears to be filling one of the two potential “wrong reasons” roles this season (more on the other in a moment). We see him being called a “smooth operator” who “came here for fame and fortune,” and later trying to defend himself to the Bachelorette.
But things really get crazy once the clear “villain” of the crew, muscled-up Chad, gets involved.
“The best thing about Jordan is his brother. The worst thing about Jordan? He’s not his brother.” Damn, Chad!
Sort of lucky for Jordan, he isn't the only guy the beefcake has issues with — he appears to start fights with Alex, Evan Bass, and Grant Kemp — though it may be the worst with the former football player, whom he threatens to hunt down after the show. Yikes!
At some point, two people will come to blows (we can probably place our bets on this one), and we even see some bloody knuckles.
Chris Harrison shows up and possibly kicks Chad out of the house, and that’s not even the end of the drama.
Remember how we teased another “wrong reasons” dude? That’ll be former swimmer Robby, who is plagued with rumors of a girlfriend back home. We see our girl Joelle begging him to “be honest” about whether he broke up with his ex for the show. Not again!
And yet, the trailer still ends with JoJo gushing about how she’s “found love” and is “going to walk away with my fiancé.”
This is going to be good.
The Bachelorette airs Monday nights at 8 p.m. ET on ABC
