Get to Know ‘Bachelorette’ 2017 Contestant Eric Bigger

Rachel Lindsay has a whopping 31 contestants on her Bachelorette 2017, so who would’ve thought she’d meet a potential frontrunner before filming even started!

We’re talking about Nick Viall’s After the Final Rose special, where four Season 13 contestants were introduced to the Dallas gal live — one being the seriously promising Eric Bigger.

Those of you who were paying attention during this (totally awkward) segment will remember the handsome 29-year-old for having instant chemistry with the Bachelorette.

In the midst of a group of fellas who were offering Rachel uncomfortable hugs and ill-advised jokes about race, we were introduced to this L.A. dude, who danced it out with the brunette beauty.

According to Reality Steve’s spoilers, Eric has plenty more to offer this season, considering the diversity of his background.

At first glance, you might dismiss the Baltimore native for his past work as a model.

However, while he is a fitness enthusiast, he’s also a motivational speaker — yes, this guy’s a smarty pants!

He graduated magna cum laude from Hampton University in 2010, and went on to write the books 100 Days of Wisdom and Quotes To Shape Your Life.

Also, a brief look through his YouTube account shows him to be not only a feminist, but also politically-minded.

This is sure to be a bonus with the 32-year-old lead who, as we know, is a successful attorney outside of being a reality star.

Not only that, her father is Sam A. Lindsay, a federal judge appointed by President Clinton in the ‘90s.

We can see these two getting into some interesting discussions on the show — here’s hoping ABC will show some of it!

For now, that’s all we know about this guy but consider us intrigued by him as potential fiancé material for our girl.

In the meantime, check out Eric’s Instagram and Twitter to find out more about him, and start making your predictions on how he’ll fare!

The Bachelorette premieres Monday, May 22 at 9 p.m. ET on ABC.
