Bachelorette Rachel Lindsay Never Wants to See Lee Garrett or DeMario Jackson Again
Rachel Lindsay has had enough nonsense.
Still, she had to endure some ridiculousness on the episode, first with DeMario who we thought would be on his redemption tour post-Bachelor in Paradise Season 4 scandal.
Not so much.
“This random ass chick called in to say that she was my girlfriend. By that logic I’m Beyoncé’s boyfriend,” he fired back at Chris Harrison when asked about the elimination-causing incident.
Dean Unglert attempted to apologize for his friend, reasoning, “DeMo is not a bad person … he just makes dumb choices.”
Still, it’s no wonder Rachel is fine never seeing the 30-year-old again.
When asked by ETOnline.com which contestants she’s done with after the MTA, it didn’t take her long to come up with the “obvious” answer.
“Lee, DeMario... Should I put my fingers out and keep counting?" she quipped.
“I'm just kidding. Lee and DeMario [and] Lucas [‘Whaboom’]. Lucas, too.”
Speaking of Lee, it sounds like the Bachelorette was just as frustrated as fans were with how long he remained on her season.
In fact, the 32-year-old lists her bad boy contestant as the one thing she’d go back and change in a redo of Season 13.
“If I'm just honest, I'm going to be 100 percent honest, I'm just going to say one word: Lee,” she tells Us Weekly of her biggest regret.
She adds, “I would have sent him home sooner.”
Her negative feelings towards the Nashville singer-songwriter will come as no surprise to those who watched he ream him out on Monday.
“Lee, that’s not how you were with me,” she stated of his troublemaking behavior with the other contestants.
“With me, you were a completely different person. But now that I’ve watched it back and now that I know what’s up, I didn’t want to give any life into you and your opinions.”
She continued, “You had such an amazing opportunity to be surrounded by different people and cultures and you didn’t take advantage of that. I hope that in watching it back you realize that you were a part of something so great.
“But in case you didn’t, please know you can exit stage left and meet me backstage and I’d be more than happy to give you a Black History Month lesson,” she zinged.
She also wasn’t having any of Lee’s non-apologies, like when he claimed that he “learned how great the people I was with actually are” suddenly during the reunion.
“You didn’t need to watch a playback to realize how great they were, they were great in the house with you,” she shot back.
“I hope it expanded your horizon,” she concluded.
“The world is so much bigger and greater, and you were in the house with such great men. I really hope you take that with you in wherever you go in life.”
Hopefully he will — just far away from Rach!
The Bachelorette airs Mondays at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.
