Josh Murray Reportedly Joining MTV’s ‘The Challenge’ For All-Star Edition

In less than a week, we’ll see Amanda Stanton return to Bachelor in Paradise for a second time on Season 4.

Though ex-fiancé Josh Murray will (luckily) not be joining her south of the border, it sounds like he’s getting his own taste of continuing reality TV buzz.

We should say, we’re not just talking about hanging out with Real Housewives of Beverly Hills stars.

When word broke that Amanda was dating Robby Hayes after meeting on the new Paradise season, fans wondered what Josh’s response might be.

Instead, he’s remained pretty silent on the matter — even when his mom and his ex started feuding about it on social media.

At the time, we just assumed Josh had risen above the fray — which he very well may have — but now we hear he’s actually been busy planning his next reality gig.

After three previous stints on television with Bachelorette, BIP, and E!’s Famously Single, we assumed the 32-year-old was done.

Guess all he needed was for MTV to come a-callin’!

This week, Reality Steve drew fans’ attention to a spoilers forum for the upcoming season of the network’s long-running competition series, The Challenge.

The board teases the 31st season of the show, tentatively titled The Challenge: All-Stars, featuring the usual MTV stars competing against a mix of athletes and quasi-celebrities.

That’s where the Atlanta native comes in…

Though he’s one of the “reality stars” on the list, we also know Andi Dorfman’s ex is a former athlete, having competed in the MLB minor leagues out of high school, and later playing college football at University of Georgia.

If the spoilers are true, the younger brother of NFL quarterback Aaron Murray will be putting his athleticism to test in a series of physical and mental challenges on the show — which is said to start filming this week.

Did we mention the others on his rumored team contain some pretty major names?

Among those listed alongside Josh’s name are: a WWE Diva, a couple of Wild ‘N Out comedians, Olympians Kim Glass and Shawn Johnson, a UFC fighter, rapper RiFF RAFF, Romeo “Lil Romeo” Miller, and former NFL star Terrell Owens.

Of course, this is all hearsay until further notice, though RS insists this board has been pretty accurate in the past with their spoilers for the series.

The real question will be whether, in traditional Challenge practice, the group all lives in one house together during the season.

If so, we’re curious to see if the reality alum will make any romantic connections with the gals in the group.

There certainly are some BIP parallels in this show, so you never know!
