Camille Grammer Feels “Blessed” at One Year Cancer-Free Milestone

While everyone was busy making resolutions for 2015, one celebrity was feeling just happy to be alive and healthy. Former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Camille Grammer celebrated her one year anniversary of being cancer-free this Saturday and she didn’t have a shortage of inspiring things to say about her recovery.

“It’s an amazing start to the new year,” Camille told E! News. “I’m reaching milestones all the time and just trying to get myself back. With cancer, you never really feel like you’re in the clear but I feel good and I have a sense that things are going to be OK. I’m relieved, I’m happy, and I feel blessed.”

Camille also took to Twitter to share the good news with her fans, recalling the day last year when she was able to ring the bell at MD Anderson Cancer Center and starting her remission. Her bout of endometrial cancer seemed to come out of nowhere and her radical hysterectomy threw us all for a loop. We’re glad to see Camille on the rebound these days!

“Last year, I was too sick from the chemo to celebrate New Year’s Eve. This year, I went to two parties. It was the best New Year’s I’ve had in years. There was a lot of hugs and dancing,” Camille also told E! News. “Overall, I’m happy. I’m fulfilled and I’m in a great place in life. I’m so happy I could show my daughter what it is to be a strong woman.”

Truth be told, Camille is one of the strongest ladies out there. One year down! Suck it, cancer.

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills airs Tuesday nights at 9 p.m. ET on Bravo.
