Kim Zolciak on Daughter Brielle’s TV Aspirations & Kylie Comparisons — Exclusive

People have been drawing the comparisons between Brielle Biermann and Kylie Jenner for awhile now, but Kim Zolciak says she just doesn’t see it.

Though the Don’t Be Tardy star acknowledges their similarly-plumped lips and ages, she sees Kylie as more as inspiration for her daughter than a direct peer.

“I don’t think there’s really a comparison other than reality television, and that Brielle got her lips done,” she tells Wetpaint. “She didn’t have her lips done to look like Kylie, Brielle had her lips done because Brielle wanted her lips done.”

But that’s not to say she isn’t a fan of the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star. In fact, Kim explains the fellow 19-year-old “looks up to Kylie.”

She continues, “Kylie works her a—s off. As much as people want to say she was handed this career, she really wasn’t. And Brielle sees that.”

“Brielle will say, ‘Kylie got a new car today,’ and I’ll say, ‘Well, Kylie was probably up at 5 a.m.,’” she adds.

Speaking of careers, the mother of six says her eldest is still pursuing a TV hosting career, though that was temporarily put on hold after Kim suffered a stroke last fall.

“She’s well-spoken, she’s also personable, and people have always been able to talk to her,” the former Real Housewives of Atlanta star reasons. “She always knows what’s going on with celebrities.”

As for next steps, Brielle plans to foray her near-decade on reality TV into a gig.

Kim details, “She’s been in front of the cameras for 10 years, and she’s been interviewed herself, and she’s done interviewing. She’s in a really good position, and I will help her whatever way I can.”

Just don’t expect her daughter to be making any other major changes to her look before stepping in front of the camera.

Though the Atlanta gal was cool with her mini-me getting lip injections, full surgery is “a different ballgame.”

“Surgery just is not really necessary,” she states. “For me, I want to feel good and I encourage my girls to do the same. Brielle loves her lips and that’s it … But surgery is a far different ballgame — anesthesia and all that.”

Don’t Be Tardy airs Wednesdays at 10 p.m. ET on Bravo.
