Teen Mom OG’s Catelynn and Tyler Baltierra Will See Carly for the First Time in Two Years

No matter how much Catelynn Lowell and Tyler Baltierra have going on in their lives, fans always wonder about one thing — what’s the deal with Carly?

The Teen Mom OG couple placed their oldest daughter for adoption after her 2009 birth, and though they used to get annual visits with the now 8-year-old, their relationship with her adoptive parents has been strained in recent years.

But there’s good news — Cate and Ty have set a date for their next reunion with their daughter.

Though the then teen-parents placed their baby with Brandon and Teresa Davis, not a day goes by where they’re not thinking about her.

Both parents tweet often about how badly they miss their firstborn, and Ty often gets nostalgic by posting pics of Carly with their younger daughter, Novalee!

And though they’ve been open about the Davises not wanting Carly nor her adoption to be discussed on the MTV show, it looks like things have mended somewhat, as they’ve officially scheduled their next reunion.

Cate excitedly tweeted that she and her husband will see their daughter later this month, at which point the 8-year-old will also reunite with her biological sister, 2-year-old Nova

And this is huge.

As far as we know, the family hasn’t seen Carly in almost two years — their last hangout sesh was at the Baltierras' wedding on August 22, 2015.

The reality stars have wanted more of an open adoption, but it’s certainly been a struggle as of late.

Brandon and Teresa have said they want their child to live a normal life free of cameras, and they seldom allow her on the show, and only under the condition that her face will be blurred out.

They also don’t allow Cate or Ty to post new pictures of Carly online, since they both have such massive social media followings.

However, the 26-year-old told Wetpaint in April that relations have definitely improved with Carly’s adoptive parents and things are different off-camera than they are on the show.

“We still keep in touch,” she told us. “[The relationship] is definitely still strong.”

Meanwhile, the Michigan couple of 12 years is keeping themselves busy in other ways, what with their new children’s clothing line, Tierra Reign, as well as with decorating their new (third!) home.

Let’s hope they’ll bring Carly some Tierra Reign freebies when they meet up in a few weeks!
