Michelle Money on Bachelorette’s Chad: “I Always Feel Bad For the Villain” — Exclusive
While Wetpaint was speaking with the brunette beauty about her current Marriage Boot Camp Reality Stars appearance alongside on-again-off-again beau Cody Sattler, we had to get her input on the divisive beefcake.
While some might blame their poor showing on producer editing, the single mom asserts, in this circumstance, that’s probably not the case.
“It’s one thing when no one in the house likes you, and it’s another thing when it’s the editing,” she explains. “I can tell the difference now and it seems like Chad has rubbed people the wrong way.”
That being said, she does feel bad for the Oklahoma-raised hunk having that “negative publicity” around him.
Gettin dressed for tonight's Episode 2 of #TheBachelorette. Finally I'll get some alone time with @joelle_fletcher and be able to be myself. You will see the amazing connection we have and hopefully, after this #bachelormonday y'all will understand that I'm not violent, but I will stand up for myself, being as I, like everyone else, do not like being harassed and bullied. Stay tuned in for more #bachelorette info and pics! #joellefletcher #watchingbachelorette #tonightisthenight #donttakeshit #treatwomenright #beyourself
She empathizes, “I’m sure Chad is a great guy — we’re all just doing the best we can in life. I always feel bad for the villain.”
But the longtime alum also sees this experience as a positive one for the bad boy, whom she says “will get the most out of this show if he allows himself to learn from it.”
“Going through that for me was one of the best things I could have gone through,” she rationalizes.
“It really helped me to have thick skin and it forces you to let go of what people think of you. That’s when you really find freedom in your life.”
And while it’s clear Chad wasn’t the one for JoJo, Michelle has high hopes for one remaining contestant: Jordan Rodgers.
She gushes, “I’m Team Jordan! [He and JoJo] have that instant connection and I think he’s a good looking guy. I can tell he’s really into her.”
The Bachelorette returns Monday, June 20 at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.
