Chelsea Houska Joins the ‘Teen Mom’ Stay-at-Home Mom Club After Baby Watson

Chelsea Houska is loving life at home with her newborn son Watson so much, she’s making sure it literally never has to end.

The Teen Mom 2 star has dropped a huge bombshell a month after welcoming her second child — she has no plans to return to her job. But we couldn’t agree more with her reasoning.

The 25-year-old is one of the few girls in the MTV franchise who has a job outside of reality TV — she is a licensed esthetician in South Dakota, and on the show we often see her going to her salon at which she works.

But now, Chelsea has revealed she’s putting her career on hold for a little bit to take care of her newborn baby and her older daughter Aubree, 7.

When a fan on Twitter asked the new mom of two if she still works as an esthetician, she was very candid in her response, admitting she did up until she had Watson on January 25.

She also admitted she is “lucky enough” to be able to stay home while her husband, Cole DeBoer, works, supposedly as a traffic controller.

And though she didn’t say so, we know Chelsea makes enough money from the show that she hardly needs the extra dough!

Still, Randy’s daughter said she still wants to keep her license up to date in case she ever wants or needs to go back to work in the future.

Such a good head on her shoulders, that one.

And you’re probably wondering what the other moms of the franchise do for work, right?

Leah Messer and Kailyn Lowry are both in school to get their Bachelor’s degrees, and Jenelle Evans, well, we’re not so sure what she does, TBH, other than product endorsements on Instagram.

As for the OG girls? Maci Bookout helps her husband, Taylor McKinney, run a t-shirt company, Amber Portwood operates an online boutique, while Farrah Abraham manages three stores in her hometown of Austin, Texas.

But we’re not judging any of these moms for deciding to work or deciding to stay at home — we trust they’re making the right decisions for their families!

And yeah, those MTV paychecks don’t hurt...
