Cynthia Bailey: Kicking Porsha Williams Was “Self-Defense” (VIDEO)

Cynthia Bailey spent the seventh season of Real Housewives of Atlanta shedding her good girl image and it doesn’t look as though her transformation has slowed in Season 8.

Long before this Sunday’s season premiere, stories started circulating about the drama-filled season to come, including an altercation between Cynthia and Porsha Williams that led to the model kicking her co-star — a move she now claims was made in self-defense.

Cynthia stopped by The Steve Harvey Show earlier this week and explained she was merely trying to protect herself from what she believed was an impending attack.

“I don’t condone violence in any way — it’s not who I am — however, I feel if I’m in a threatening situation, I have a right to defend myself, and I just removed her from my personal space, but with my foot instead of my hand,” says Cynthia.

While Cynthia may feel as though she did her best to diffuse the situation, she admits it wasn’t exactly her proudest moment, either.

“I was just really upset that I allowed myself to be in a situation where I couldn’t figure out how to get out of it without something like this happening,” she says.
