It’s Mark Ballas’s Birthday — Here Are His 7 Best ‘DWTS’ Dances Ever!
Dancing With the Stars fan fave Mark Ballas turns the Big 3-0 today.
We're sure he's hoping to celebrate with a Mirror Ball win during tonight's finale, but until then, let's make due with this list of this creative choreographer's seven best dances ever on the show.
VIDEO: Best & Worst Dances From The DWTS Finale
Chelsea Kane's Mime Jive, Season 12
The judges didn't love this dance, and arguably it wasn't the best representation of Jive, but it was damn cool. And hey, the Emmys agreed — it helped Mark earn an Outstanding Choreography nomination in 2011.
Chelsea Kane's Harry Potter Viennese Waltz, Season 12
This dance was also Emmy nominated — and pure magic, just as it should be.
Sadie Robertson's Duck Dynasty Samba, Season 19
Who knew a Samba involving the Duck Dynasty cast could be so cool?
Sadie Robertson's Mario Freestyle, Season 19
The ultimate example of Mark's creativity going oh-so-right, this video game-themed Freestyle actually worked. Heck, if Sadie had been up against anyone but the practically unbeatable Alfonso Ribeiro, it could have won her the season.
Willow Shields's Alice in Wonderland Foxtrot, Season 20
Come on. Mark was in a full on White Rabbit costume. This thing should have given us nightmares, but instead it gave us chills of delight. Just gorgeous.
Alexa PenaVega's Breaking Bad Jazz, Season 21
Breaking Bad is not a show that obviously lends itself to dance, but this was one of our favorite Jazz dances ever on the show. So creative!
Paige VanZant's Fighting Paso Doble, Season 22
Who knew you could turn UFC fighting into such a cool dance?
Catch the second night of the Dancing With the Stars Season 22 finale on Tuesday, May 24 at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.
