Julianne And Derek Hough, Cheryl Burke Returning to ‘DWTS’ For Season 23 (UPDATE)

The Chmerkovskiy brothers won’t be the only sibling duo in the ballroom — the Houghs are both returning too!
That’s right, Julianne Hough will be returning as a judge for Season 23 after taking a season off, multiple sources confirmed to People. Her older brother, Derek Hough, will reportedly be back as a pro.
It’s also rumored two-time champ Cheryl Burke is set to return after exiting the series following Season 19.
Neither the 32-year-old nor ABC has commented on the latest Season 23 gossip.

Sorry, Dancing With the Stars fans, you’re losing one of your favorite pros. But you’re also getting two back!
Six-time champ Derek Hough, 31, is planning to return after he sat out Season 22, E! News reports.
Maks Chmerkovskiy also announced he’s coming back to DWTS for Season 23 following his summer-long dance tour with brother Val. The 36-year-old last competed for the Mirror Ball trophy in Season 18, which he won.
"I feel great," the expectant dad told Good Morning America Thursday, August 25. "I just wanted this to continue, the feeling, the positivity, so much love out there. I'm just excited."
"I love the show and I love to still be part of it but, you know, I still want to hang up my dance shoes and what a way to end," she told Entertainment Weekly on Tuesday, August 22.
"It's like, 'Thank you, Dancing With the Stars,” the newlywed added, hinting she may still appear on web show DWTS: All Access.
Although Kym, 40, is skipping the upcoming season, ABC has revealed eight professional dancers who will definitely compete along with Maks.
Dancing With the Stars returns Monday, September 12, at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.
