‘ANTM’ Alum Eugena Washington Named 2016 ‘Playboy’ Playmate of the Year (PHOTOS)
America’s Next Top Model may not have been her thing, but Eugena Washington is dominating the pages of Playboy these days.
The 31-year-old beauty has been named Playboy Playmate of the Year, becoming only the third black woman to do so in the 1957-founded magazine’s history.
“It’s a great time for this. The world is changing,” the South Carolina native said in a press release. “I hope this brings different eyes to the magazine and new audiences.”
Along with Eugena there have only been two other black women to receive this title: 1990 Playmate of the Year Renee Tenison and 2009 Playmate of the Year Ida Ljungqvist.
“This is a story and a chapter in my life to build around. I’m enjoying the ride, and right now I’m doing whatever I want to do, day by day. That’s how I live,” she continued. “That’s what my life is about. As long as I’m doing what I want to do, I’m happy.”
But that’s okay because the video vixen — who starred in the music video for B.o.B's "Nothin' on You" in 2010 — receives $100K in prize money and a two-year lease on a 2017 Fiat Spider for this Playboy honor.
