Farrah Abraham Officially Announces Her Resignation from ‘Teen Mom OG’

Farrah Abraham took her daughter off of Teen Mom OG — and now she herself is following suit.

The MTV star has made an official declaration that she is done with the show after this season, and, in true Farrah fashion, she's already got her sights set on bigger and better things.

Last week, the 26-year-old revealed she no longer wanted her 8-year-old daughter, Sophia, to be a part of the show, since she felt it wasn't appropriate for her to be talking about "sex and unplanned pregnancies."

Instead, Farrah says, her daughter will focus on fashion and other ventures totally normal for a third-grader, and will continue to be home-schooled.

And the young mom herself is doing the same.

The serial reality star revealed over the weekend that she has big plans for 2018... and they don't involve filming for Teen Mom OG.

“Right now I know I am making the right choices and I am here to finish up the filming of the season and I feel I have done the best I can do in good faith and not lose my work ethic,” she told Us Weekly while hosting a holiday party at Crazy Horse gentleman's club.

“So it is truly a sad case and a shame they have chosen to fire me and [they only care about] storyline and that is really sad for the show. In the meantime, I am not letting it affect my personal life, which it has been."

As fans know, the Backdoor Teen Mom was recently fired from the show by executive producers Morgan J. Freeman and Larry Musnik, who felt they couldn't keep filming her if she was going to pursue adult entertainment ventures on the side.

"Who are you to tell me to choose one thing?!" Farrah tells Morgan in the trailer after he breaks the news.

However, although the business owner later revealed she was only "fake fired," it seems as though she's made the decision to leave after all.

As for what the FroCo owner will do next?

"A lot of shows," she admitted. "I would say bigger networks, different endeavors and scripted, so everything is looking good. It is just sad that I have to close this chapter of my life and hopefully on a good page rather than a bad page.”

She continued, “I am just excited for 2018, it is going to be a very big year. I have just learned so much from being a young teen mom and getting out of those struggles and all of those hard times.”

But do we really believe Farrah is dunzo with TMOG this time? Because now she's rescinding her statements that Sophia will no longer appear on the series.

“I think that was something that got mixed or confused, because I don’t believe I have ever said that,” the single mom told Us.

“The main reason I was on the show in the first place was because of my daughter. She was born onto the show, so I always wanted her to be on there. “

We've heard Farrah and almost all her co-stars Catelynn Lowell, Maci Bookout and Amber Portwood threaten to quit the show at some point over the years, so we won't believe this one until we see it.

But we're sure either way we'll be seeing more of Farrah on other networks — she's already appeared on Vh1's Couples Therapy, E!'s Botched, and MTV UK's Single AF, for starters — so stay tuned!
