Former Destiny’s Child Member Farrah Franklin Arrested
It looks like fate hasn’t been too kind to former Destiny’s Child singer Farrah Franklin. The singer was arrested for public intoxication and marijuana possession.
According to police officers, Farrah got into an argument with a male friend during the early morning hours of June 2 outside a gym in Dekalb County, Georgia.

When officers arrived, she told them she was not ready to go home and added, “these n—as won’t leave me alone.”
Per TMZ, law enforcement noticed signs of drunkenness: an odor of alcohol, slurred speech, and bloodshot eyes. When they asked the vocalist, who was a member of the girl group between 1999 and 2000, if she’d been drinking, she reportedly said, “not enough.”
The 35-year-old was booked for public intoxication and possession of a small amount of weed. She remains in police custody with bail set at $250.
This is not the first arrest for the singer, who was previously thrown in the clink back in 2014 for disorderly conduct in South Carolina when she was reportedly found sleeping in a local person’s yard.
Let’s hope destiny can help this child out in her time of need.
