‘Girls’ Writer and Producer Accused of Raping Actress Aurora Perrineau
Another Hollywood producer has been accused of sexual assault.
Actor Harold Perrineau’s daughter, Aurora Perrineau, claims Girls writer and executive producer Murray Miller raped her back in 2012.
The actress was just 17 years old when the alleged incident occurred.
According to police reports, Aurora passed a polygraph test and filed a report against the TV star.
She said she met Murray while she was out with friends at the Standard Hotel. They also “consumed some alcoholic beverages.”
“He was flirting with me. I told him repeatedly that I was 17 years old,” she said in the documents.
The 35-year-old then asked the girls for a ride home “because he was drunk.”
Once they were back at his place, Aurora reportedly went inside his home because all of her friends were.
“At some point, I woke up in Murray’s bed naked,” she revealed.
“He was on top of me having sexual intercourse with me. At no time did I consent to any sexual contact with Murray.”
Murray’s attorney, Matthew Walerstein, says he denies the women’s claims.
“After being contacted several weeks ago by lawyers who — on Ms. Perrineau’s behalf — sought substantial monetary damages from him, Mr. Miller’s legal team gathered overwhelming evidence directly contradicting these false and offensive claims,” the lawyer said in a statement.
“Only after her demands for money were rebuffed did Ms. Perrineau go to the police.”
He continued, “Mr. Miller looks forward to sharing all evidence and information with any and all authorities seeking the truth in this matter.”
However Aurora’s mother, Brittany Perrineau, says they never asked Murray for money.
“At no time have we ever asked Murray Miller for one dollar,” she said in a statement.
“There was never a demand for money ever made from anyone on behalf of Aurora or our family.”
This is all so heartbreaking.
