Grey’s Anatomy’s Jesse Williams: Jackson and April Still Have Hope
As Callie and Arizona traded blows in their custody trial, Japril made plans for their unborn child. As the once-bitter exes made plans for their unborn child, they seemed surprised the conversation progressed so productively and peacefully.
“Even though they’re divorced, they’re still clearly each other’s person,” Jesse tells TVLine. “Even if they were to move on in some form or fashion, that’s still the person that you know most intimately. There’s certainly a magnetic draw physically between them.”
And it might have been because of their colleagues’ legal drama that Jackson and April were so cool, calm, and collected. Sarah Drew previously told The Hollywood Reporter the Calzona court date served as a “warning shot” for Japril.
“They definitely have hope,” Jesse continues. “I think, as long as they’re alive, they’re going to have hope, because they care deeply about each other. I would be hard-pressed to ever say the slate is wiped completely clean.”
His on-screen wife has similar optimism. “I could definitely see down the road, through different sets of circumstances, this baby being the thing that brings them back together, for sure,” Sarah told Entertainment Weekly in February.
See if and how Jackson and April work their way back to one another as Grey’s Anatomy airs on Thursdays at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.
