Jackie Christie’s Estranged Daughter, Ta’kari, Is Expecting Her Fourth Child
Jackie Christie has another grandchild on the way.
Her eldest daughter, Ta’kari Lee, revealed she’s expecting her fourth child on Instagram this week.
Unsurprisingly, Jackie has not commented on the exciting news, as she and her daughter remain estranged.
Ta’kari is already mom to three youngs boys, but now she is expecting her first girl.
“Bumpin along!!” she wrote in the caption of the photo, showing her baby bump. “Can’t wait to meet you, Princess Isaacs.”
This happy news comes amidst continued drama between Ta’kari and the Basketball Wives star.
Earlier this week, the reality star shared screenshots of text message conversations allegedly between herself and Ta’kari, attempting to prove that she’s not a “bad mother.”
The posts have since been deleted.
In a recent interview, Ta’kari opened up about her strained relationship with her mother and her upcoming tell-all book about her life.
She revealed that the only thing those text messages showed was “how sporadic our communication is,” theJasmineBRAND.com reported.
Ta’kari also claimed originally the book was something she hoped to write with her mother.
“I wanted it to be something that my mother and me could have worked on together; you know [she has] publishing companies,” she said.
However, her mother wants nothing to do with the book, and even threatened to block the release of it.
“Her trying to come after me has hindered me from [writing the book],” Ta’kari said. “I have studied law to an extent so I know what I wrote, I was very careful to make sure I did not write anything for anyone to be able to come after me.”
She continued, “Like I said, I am not coming for anyone, like I said this is my story, but I am aware that there are people who are against it.”
Ta’kari then went on to dispel rumors that she’s been diagnosed with a mental illness, seeming to refer to when Evelyn Lozada read excerpts from ther book on Basketball Wives, that said Ta’kari was suicidal.
“I have never been diagnosed with bipolar… There are no grounds behind the statement, but like I said it is all out of assumptions,” she said.
“No one has read the book, so no one can say what the book is about.”
It’s still unclear when Ta’kari’s book will be released, but it’s clear lots of people will be picking up a copy.
