Bachelorette 2015 Spoilers: Who Is Contestant JJ Lane III?

We know a lot about Season 11 Bachelorette Kaitlyn Bristowe (oops, you do know it’s just Kaitlyn starring now, and she’s not sharing with Britt Nilsson, right?), but one thing we’re not sure of is where she stands on kids. Does she want them? Yes. Does she want to pick a dude that comes with a daughter? Unclear, but that’s what she’ll get if JJ Lane III is her final pick on Bachelorette 2015.

According to Reality Steve, family fella JJ comes with a daughter, Gemma, who is three years old. The only single parent ever to win was Emily Maynard, and that girl was flawless on The Bachelor back on Season 15. Let’s see if JJ fares better than the dozen or so single dads who have been on the show…

The 30-year-old hunk makes his home in Denver, Colorado, where he’s been for some time. According to Steve, he attended University of Denver and graduated cum laude with a BSBA in Finance. After, he went to New York City to play with the big dogs in the investment banking game. But now, he’s back home in the CO, working as CEO in a company he co-founded, called 360 Service Companies. There, they provide “industry-leading residential service offerings,” which translates into house painting, sprinkler setups, landscaping, and lawn-doing.

When he’s not being a dad and doing dad things, JJ enjoys watching hockey, which is also one of Kaitlyn’s favorite things to do. She also dates hockey players, so we’ll see if that comes up in any of the dates this season.

If you feel like stalking him, you can find him on Facebook under his whole name, John H. Lane III, though his private profile shows only a few pictures of daughter Gemma and not much else. His Instagram and Twitter are protected, though his avatars show he does more than just watch hockey.

Although we’re not sure yet how long he’ll make it, he did show up in pics from the Sumo wrestling group date, so we know he wasn’t thrown in the penalty box on Night One — and he probably (though not definitely) chose Kait over Britt. Let’s see if Kaitlyn wants to check him out on the rest of her journey. That’s a hockey reference, FYI.

What do you think: Could JJ be the one for Kaitlyn?
