Josh Murray Teases His Own Book, ‘Bachelor in Paradise’ Appearance — Exclusive
EXCLUSIVE: Andi Dorfman Reveals Plans For Book #2!
While Andi’s book documenting their breakup is climbing up the New York Times Bestseller list, her ex-fiancé’s new E! show Famously Single premieres next Tuesday, which has him learning to date again after the acrimonious split.
While Josh tells Wetpaint he’s only read excerpts of the tell-all — which paints a less-than-flattering picture of the former pro baseballer — he says he’s “trying to be a bigger person and a gentleman” about the whole thing.
“I want to be a good example for my future wife and future kids on how to handle negativity,” he explains. “It is not by fighting negativity with negativity, it’s not by fighting hate with hate.”
The 31-year-old, who emphasizes that he has great relationships with the rest of his exes, still maintains he harbors no ill will toward Andi, and says he’s happy for her success.
“I know it sounds weird but I really do truly wish her nothing but the best,” he tells us. “I hope she does find love and happiness and get over whatever it is she needs to get over.”
Now that we’ve heard the Bachelorette’s side of things, we’re excited to hear that her ex is about to share his own perspective: He’s also got a book in the works!
“I actually was approached quite a while ago to write a book but it’s not a gossip-y, juicy book,” the Atlanta hunk reveals. “It’s a book that hopefully my kids and my family will, when I leave a legacy, be a positive thing … It wasn’t something just putting others down.”
And if Famously Single and a book aren’t enough Josh for you already, there’s also those rumors he’s joining the Season 3 cast of Bachelor in Paradise, which starts filming soon. He wouldn’t confirm or deny the news, but he did hint at something like it possibly coming up.
He says coyly, “There’s a lot of possibilities and I’m open to finding something — and whatever it takes, here now or on TV, it doesn’t matter to me. As long as I have the opportunity to go out there and find somebody, I will take advantage of it.”
“I don’t stay in touch with Nick at all but I have no problems with him,” he contends. “Honestly, I have no problems with anybody in Bachelor Nation — I like all of them.”
