Joy-Anna Duggar Marries Austin Forsyth — And Brother Joseph Gets Engaged at The Wedding
Another Duggar is married!
Joy-Anna Duggar tied the knot with Austin Forsyth on Friday, May 26.
The couple wed nearly three months after they became engaged.
Though the couple were only courting for a few months before the engagement, they’ve been friends for 15 years.
“We feel so happy and so excited,” the couple told People magazine.
“Leading up, it was so surreal until I was walking down the aisle and then I was like, ‘Oh my goodness, it’s actually here,” Joy-Anna added.
“We are going to be traveling for our Honeymoon for awhile,” she continued.
“A lifetime,” her husband added.
The pair weren’t the only ones with cause for celebration, however.
Joy-Anna’s older brother Joseph popped the question to Kendra Caldwell at the wedding.
The couple began courting back in March after meeting through their church.
“We are super excited,” the couple told People. “It’s great to not be courting anymore, now we’re engaged.”
“I was definitely nervous going into it, but I wasn’t afraid that she was going to say no, because she has said, ‘I’m just waiting on you!’” Joseph added.
Fans will be able to see Joy-Anna’s wedding, which will most likely include Joseph’s proposal, in the premiere episode of Counting On. Congrats to both couples!
Counting On premieres Monday, June 12 at 9 p.m. ET on TLC.
