Wendy Williams Defends Kandi Burruss After Baby Ace Controversy (VIDEO)

We’ve already counted the ways Kandi Burruss is a practically perfect mom, but thanks to a new video, not everyone agrees with us.

The Real Housewives of Atlanta cast member and her hubby, Todd Tucker, caused quite a controversy when they shared a video featuring a new pillow that holds their four-month-old son's bottle in place so mom and dad can have two free hands.

The short clip of Ace being pushed in a stroller while eating has drawn mixed reactions from commenters, some of whom say the little one could choke or suffocate if he’s fed this way.

Another commenter pointed out the device means “no bonding with the baby.”

One person coming to the new parents’ defense? Talk show host Wendy Williams.

Though Wendy has her fair share of beef with many of the RHoA ladies, she saw nothing wrong with how Todd and Kandi were feeding their son, and spoke up for the couple on an episode of THE WENDY WILLIAMS SHOW last week.

Thanks @wendyshow for sticking up for us! & we're gonna use that gift! #DaddyDaycareProblems

“You do get tired when you feed a baby,” Wendy argued, recalling her own experiences bottle feeding her now-teenaged son. “I remember having pillows stacked up so I don't have to hold my arm like that because I'm not that strong.”

She added, “Sometimes, I'd be so comfortable, tired, being a mom — don't call DYFS [Division of Youth and Family Service] — but I would fall asleep.”

Wendy said she’s “not judging” the pair, and even sent them a “blinged-out” hands-free bottle for Ace and his tired parents.

According to Kandi, the bottle is already being put to good use, but it looks like they won’t need it for long!
