Over the weekend, social media rediscovered a five-year-old video of Katy Perry singing “Last Friday Night” in Simlish — the official and totally nonsensical language from The Sims and its sequel video games.

And Twitter users couldn’t get enough of Katy earnestly tackling giberrish lyrics like “Zerpa stamby imba bweb / Zerpa powey imba heb / Fweeka minzo eba foo / Cowsa lovy minza bar.”

Believe it or not, The Sims developer Electronic Arts has elicited Simlish covers from many other popular artists and bands. Check out the silliness here!
