Kim Kardashian and Kanye West’s Hidden Hills Mansion Is Wild
If Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are known for one thing, it’s pure, unadulterated opulence. Who else would have a week-long wedding celebration in Paris just to tie the knot in Florence? So it’s not surprising that Kimye’s $20 million Hidden Hills, California estate, which was previously owned by Elvis Presley’s daughter Lisa Marie Presley, of all people, is almost too krazy for words.
Here are the most off-the-wall features of the home, which has appropriately been nicknamed “The jewel of the Hidden Hills,” according to Star magazine.
Some people may have their own wine cellar, but almost no one has their very own on-site vineyard. But, somehow, Kimye has two wineries in their backyard, TMZ reports. We wonder what type of grapes Kanye deems elegant enough for his private label!
The Amusement Park-Ready Pool Areas
If Kim and Kanye already have two vineyards, they’re definitely going to have two pools. One pool, closer to the main area of the estate, has jets that shoot over it to provide a water garden atmosphere. The other, near the edge of the property, has a slide for little North’s (and now her soon-to-be baby brother’s) fun-in-the-sun playtime.
Double The Spas
We’re starting to see a pattern here—Kim and Kanye’s home also boasts two spas. According to Hollywood Life, as of October 2013, North’s mom requested that any prospective abode have at least one. This must make couples massages especially difficult.
The Requisite Nude Art
Would it be the home of Kim Kardashian — she of “Break the Internet” bootylicious infamy — without a nude image of her in it? Apparently, the scandalous photo of the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star is so large it could break the wall. “There’s a gigantic nude of Kim in the living room. It’s impossible to avoid,” said an employee with whom Star spoke.
Kanye’s “West” Wing
Since the gigantic residence already pays homage to Kim’s famous derriere, it also needs to give a nod to Yeezus’s great moments. The rapper reportedly has his own “West Wing,” which is a pretty hilarious pun. The space serves as “a huge ego room for his awards and posters,” according to the Kimye insider. “He spends hours in there, just staring at his accolades.”
A Crack Security System
With so much wealth hanging around — and unnecessary robberies happening to fellow celebrities all the time — the power couple has installed a top-of-the-line security system. And we don’t just mean there are a few cameras. “There are codes, alarms, radars and guards everywhere,” said the Star source. “There are cameras in every single room—even the closets!” Since Kim is clearly a fan of her phone, she and her hubby can check out the security footage remotely whenever they want.
The Oversized Furniture
While the mega-mansion reportedly takes up 15,000 square feet on the pair’s three acres of land, the home’s furniture is so big it makes everything feel “claustrophobic.” That’s a nearly impossible feat with almost limitless space and eight bedrooms.
