Kristina Schulman Reveals Whether She’d Do ‘Bachelorette’ 2018

As bad as we felt for Kristina Schulman on Bachelor in Paradise, we have a feeling she’s going to come out on top.

The Russian beauty was left heartbroken when Dean Unglert chose Danielle Lombard over her in their messy Season 4 love triangle — only to regret his choice later.

Now, the Colorado hunk may or may not be trying to reignite their flame, but could she already be looking ahead to Bachelorette 2018?

In recent interviews, Dean has teased a reconciliation with Kristina, saying, “Hopefully there’s a time that we can figure it out and see what happens from there.”

Then, on Ellen this week, the 26-year-old gal appeared to confirm this possibility, teasing with a smile, “Only if this guy learns from his mistakes.”

Sure, Danielle may have posted about her “deep connection” with the Bachelorette alum, but other than that, we haven’t heard anything about them reconnecting.

I've always been criticized and ridiculed for my looks. Making me work ten times harder to prove that my success comes from my ethics and not my physical appearance. I've held several jobs at once, bought my first car when I was 17, and opened my first business at 23 years old. It's heartbreaking and disappointing to see how my relationship was depicted as something only surface level. Dean and I's connection was so much deeper. Call us kindred spirits or free souls...our outlook on life and love was similar (or so I thought). Which is why we continued a relationship after the show. However, just because I am looking for someone to "have fun with", explore the world, and try new things, does not mean that I don't want monogamy. Marriage is something that will happen when the right person comes into my life but I am not placing a time constraint on that. We have a tendency to become defensive when we see someone physically in pain, but just because they never showed me crying or being upset doesn't mean that I wasn't. This show was one of the most challenging, emotionally trying experiences I have endured. Looking back, I never spoke negatively about anyone else. I never told Dean how he should feel or who he should choose. I wouldn't change anything, all I can do is learn from it and move forward. There are so many other things that we can be investing our time and energy into - things that can improve and change the world. So please be respectful towards everyone Spread more love, less hate.

In fact, we also now know that D.Lo was also hooking up with Ben Zorn during Paradise, so maybe it’s all a moot point.

Unfortunately for Dean, he may be left with no one at the end of the day, as fans are calling for the Kentucky gal to be named the next Season 14 star.

On Ben Higgins and Ashley Iaconetti’s Almost Famous podcast this week, she revealed whether she’d actually do it.

“If asked to be the next Bachelorette, I would have to probably consider when the time comes to it because again, watching Bachelor in Paradise, it was a lot of emotion,” the dental hygienist said.

She admitted, “It’s hard to see yourself that emotional.”

Filming is still a long way off — usually mid-March — and Kristina noted a lot can change by then.

“When the opportunity presents itself, if it does, I’ll consider it then,” she mused.

“But for now, I have to kind of learn from Bachelor in Paradise and move on from that,” she concluded.

We don’t blame her for still having such raw emotions, considering how “emotional” she was watching the show back.

“Whenever I was in the moment, it was just the relationship between myself and Dean,” she explained of her feelings.

“I wasn’t focused on anyone around me, really, because I was trying to figure out for myself: what am I doing with this?”

Whether or not Kristina is the next Bachelorette star, we hope she now realizes her own worth!
