Lady Gaga Sends Emotional Tribute to Fiancé Taylor Kinney Post Oscars
Just when we thought we'd cried all the tears we could over Lady Gaga's incredible Oscars performance, she sends us reaching for the tissues once again.
The 29-year-old Golden Globe winner capped the night with an emotional tribute to her 34-year-old fiancé, actor Taylor Kinney, whom she calls a "real man" for loving "the survivor in [her]."
Gaga had many of Hollywood's elite weeping at the 2016 Oscars. An Academy Award nominee for Best Song, she delivered an emotional performance of her Diane Warren collaboration, "Til It Happens to You," from the campus rape documentary, The Hunting Ground.
Surrounded by several assault survivors as she sang, the American Horror Story star seemed close to tears several times — and with good reason. After all, Gaga, born Stefani Germanotta, counts herself among them.
The multi-Grammy winner has spoken candidly before on her own experience with sexual assault, and her personal connection to the song was vividly channeled through her performance.
We're glad Gaga has found such a supportive partner in Taylor, who could be seen looking adoringly at his fiancée from the audience. Now that's what we call #relationshipgoals.
