Lady Gaga Gets Matching Tattoos With Sexual Assault Survivors (PHOTO)
Lady Gaga continues to be an inspiration — and this evidence is permanent.
Days after her touching performance of “Til it Happens to You” at the 2016 Oscars, Mother Monster has bonded herself with the sexual assault survivors that joined her onstage via matching tattoos.
"Honored to tattoo a symbol of "unity" on @ladygaga today,” tattoo artist David Allen wrote on Instagram alongside a photo of the ink. “An image of solidarity for survivors of sexual assault.”
The 29-year-old co-penned the Oscar-nominated song with Diane Warren for The Hunting Ground and gave everyone goosebumps by bringing 50 women on stage who relate to the campus rape epidemic storyline the documentary tackles.
Yesterday, the “Artpop” singer shared a series of ads promoting #FreeEveryWoman with poignant phrases calling attention to the serious issue.
In addition the performance, PSA series, and tattoos, Lady Gaga also revealed her family didn’t find out about her being sexually assaulted when she was 19 until she took the stage at the 88th Academy Awards.
If you ask us, this ink is the perfect way to bond these people together forever.
