Leah Messer Quits Smoking — Was It Faked for ‘Teen Mom 2’?
And her next step on her “I love myself” journey? Quitting smoking!
But the mom of three is vowing to kick the gross habit once and for all — and now that she’s made the pledge on social media it’s official, right?
“So over this bad habit!!! It's not healthy for me or my household,” she captioned the Instagram clip of her burning her cigs.
“What role model for my daughters would I be to keep smoking? So I'm finally saying goodbye to cigarettes!”
Only problem is the 24-year-old is being called out for pretending to quit smoking for her storyline on TM2 Season 7B, according to Hollywood Gossip, which is currently in production.
We’ll admit the upcoming season might not be the most “dramatic” for Leah now that she’s no longer in the midst of a divorce, a rehab stint, or a custody battle. But doesn’t faking something like this seem kinda... extreme?
The long-running MTV series has been called out many a time for faking storylines and editing scenes inaccurately, but we won’t know for sure if Leah is really quitting smoking until the new episodes air.
Let’s hope it’s legit though — those three little girls need a healthy mama!
