‘DWTS’ Pros Maks and Peta Gush Over Their Fairytale Wedding (UPDATE)
UPDATE (7/13/17 at 1:23 p.m. ET):
Maks Chmerkovskiy and Peta Murgatroyd are still dreaming about their fairytale wedding over the weekend.
"My love @petamurgatroyd. I've been waiting for this day my whole life. Some moments are a blur because I couldn't stop thinking how incredible you looked,” the 37-year-old groom posted on Instagram.
“My heart is overwhelmed with love, my soul is elated and my life is finally complete... I truly am the luckiest person ever.”
The 30-year-old bride echoed her husband’s sentiments with her own Instagram post alongside a gorgeous picture of the pair.
“07~08~2017 was the most magical day of my life. I married my soulmate, my perfect man, the only man I could see myself growing old with. I will love you until the end @maksimc.”

Original Story (7/9/17 at 9:37 a.m. ET):
The Dancing With the Stars pros tied the knot in a gorgeous ceremony on Saturday, July 8 in Long Island, New York.
Nearly 300 guests attended the beautiful nuptials and watched the couple wed.
While the groom rocked a dashing tuxedo, the Australian native wowed the guests in her stunning Karen Sabag Couture ball gown.
Their baby son Shai, who was born in January, was of course a part of the ceremony as he served as the "prince of honor."
The 37-year-old’s brother, Val Chmerkovskiy, was the best man and looked especially handsome standing next to his big bro at the altar.
Despite the wedding happening on the same day as fellow DWTS family member Julianne Hough, a number of familiar faces attended the nuptials, including Rumer Willis, fellow DWTS pro dancer Sharna Burgess, season 18 contestant and Fuller House star Candace Cameron Bure, and Peta's former DWTS partner, Nyle DiMarco.
The dancing duo exchanged vows at the extravagant Oheka Castle, which has always been a dream for the father of one, who grew up close by in Brooklyn, New York.
“We went there. It’s perfect. We’re going to have it for two days. They’re closing the whole hotel. It’s going to be unbelievable,” the hunky dancer told ABC News in March.
“I remember when I was passing by this castle when I first immigrated, and [I said], ‘That’s where I want to have my wedding’ and I just said it so [casually], and now it’s happening.”
While Maks was dreaming of his special day since he was a kid, Peta was a bit more hesitant about rushing to the altar after having their baby.
“I tried to put it on hold, to be honest with you. I said, ‘Baby, let's just drop it for a second. We have a child already. Lets just maybe call it quits at engaged,’” she told People recently.
However, her baby daddy was not having any of her cold feet.
“He was, like, ‘No! I want to marry you,' It was really funny, actually.”
“He had to sort of coax me back into being ready to get married and do all of this stuff because there is so much to do!”
Well, we are so happy you two finally decided to walk down the aisle! Congratulations!
