Insiders believe James’s suspicions first kicked in after the diva gave Bryan a lap dance at a May performance in South Africa — seen in the video after the break.

Though it’s unclear if the confrontation between the two got physical, sources say the businessman used his casino ties to have the choreographer banned from Caesar’s Palace, where Mimi was performing.

Meanwhile, another insider maintains the Australian was simply “more private” than his superstar fiancée, whose celebrity grew to be too much for him.

“When she refused to come to Australia for Gretel’s birthday party it created a lot of tension in the family. His mom hated to even hear her name mentioned, and James’s tight circle of friends never really thought they would marry.”

While it looks like the couple may be dunzo for good, the silver lining is the 46-year-old gets to keep her $10 million engagement ring.
