When Will the Next ‘Bachelor’ 2017 Be Announced? (UPDATE)
UPDATE (8/15/2016): Looks like we might find out the identity of the next Bachelor 2017 star sooner than we thought!
Though the past two seasons have revealed the lucky hunk in the last week of August or first week of September, showrunner Mike Fleiss teased on Twitter recently it could be any day now. Oh, and he's going to be the one to break the news — on social media, no less!
I will be announcing our new Bachelor right here on my Twitter account!!! Stay tuned... #TheBachelorMike Fleiss (@fleissmeister) August 11, 2016
His tweet isn't exactly clear on which day that post will come, so it's probably best to just check back in daily. He did hint it could be either at the end of the 2016 Olympics — on October 21 — or when he hits 100K followers on Twitter. As of this posting, he's at 66K followers so unless there's a big change, we're planning for next Sunday!
Original story (7/27/2016 9 a.m. ET): Everyone’s talking about who will be the next Bachelor 2017 star, but we’re kind of getting ahead of ourselves, right?
After all, we don’t even know when the Season 21 lead is going to be announced — whether it’s Luke Pell, Chase McNary, or someone else entirely. But lucky for you, history tends to repeat itself.
While the Bachelorette star is usually revealed on the Bachelor After the Final Rose special (live after the finale), we’ve got to wait a bit longer to find out which hunk is going to be doling out roses come January.
This news could be coming either during an episode of Bachelor in Paradise or its after show, or on Good Morning America. But either way, it’s going to be a bit so be patient, y’all!
