Rachel Lindsay Reveals Who She Wants to See as the Next ‘Bachelor’

No one is getting their hands on Rachel Lindsay’s men.

Some of the guys this season may have dreams of being the next Bachelor, but the 32-year-old hopes ABC goes in a different direction.

The Dallas native opened up about the possibility of Peter Kraus being named the Season 22 leading man and why she’s not such a fan of the idea.

When asked if she saw the 31-year-old’s yearbook photo, in which he listed “to be on The Bachelor” as one of his future goals, Rach said the fitness trainer got close enough.

"I thought, 'OK!' I guess dreams come true! You're on The Bachelorette, close enough. Good for you, Peter!” she told Entertainment Tonight.

However, she’s not upset with Pete for something he said when he was just a teenager.

"I mean, I can't judge him for what he wrote at 18. I wouldn't want people judging me for things I did at 18."

And, though he has a lot of fan support behind him, the lawyer would rather not see him as the leading man next season.

"I feel slightly possessive over the men that were on my season. Do I think he's a great person? He's obviously handsome, absolutely,” she continued.

“All my top four would [be great], but I don't want to see any of them as the next Bachelor! Let's pick someone from JoJo’s [Fletcher] season."

While Peter and Eric Bigger have numerous supporters on social media, fellow top three contestant Bryan Abasolo isn’t getting as kind of a reception.

"I'm not surprised, because that was my reaction when I first met him. I had my guard up. I questioned it," she revealed.

"I haven't really been paying attention too much to what fans are saying, but I'm not surprised they think that."

She continued, "I just think over time, you fall into feelings the way I did. I gave him a chance, so I feel like they should too," she added.

Nick Viall’s former flame is also concerned the Miami native is just too good to be true.

"With Bryan, at the beginning I had a lot of concerns about, 'Is it too good to be true?' He's very charming, is what he's giving me sincere?” she said.

“That was my biggest thing, do I trust his sincerity.”
