Who’s the Next ‘Bachelor’ 2018 Star? 4 Frontrunners For Season 22

Warning: Major spoilers ahead for Rachel Lindsay’s Bachelorette 2017 season.

We know it’s way too early, but we can’t help but look ahead past Bachelorette 2017 and figure out which of Rachel Lindsay’s Season 13 contestants will be the next Bachelor 2018 star!

After all, aside from Nick Viall’s surprise pick last year and Brad Womack’s second go-around, all of the previous leads have been someone from the previous season.

With that in mind, we have plenty of insight from Reality Steve’s spoilers to help us predict the star of Season 22 months before the September announcement.

For one thing, we know Rachel is engaged to one special man (click over here to find out who), so that takes him out of the running.

Who does that leave us with?

Right now, there’s likely a few guys producers are keeping an eye on as the episodes air to see who resonates best with audiences.

Also influencing our predictions is the model the powers that be have been working with for over a decade, where they choose between the three runners up.

Of course, there are exceptions to this rule, as with Juan Pablo Galavis and Jake Pavelka.

With that in mind, we have a pretty strong prediction for who will get the gig.

Read on for four possibilities, in order from least to most likely. Start placing your bets, people!

Long Shot: Eric Bigger

So far, it looks like the personal trainer isn’t getting the most favorable of edits, which is why he’s at the bottom of this list. However, once his gaslighter Lee Garrett is out of the picture, he has the chance to win over fans with his wisdom (he’s a motivational speaker) and intellect (he graduated magna cum laude). Plus, he’s never been in love, which is a great backstory!

Though wrestler Kenny might not make it as far as the rest of the men on this list, he’s an early fan favorite thanks to his sweet relationship with his 10-year-old daughter. Plus, at 35, he’s ready for a wife, and he’s proven to be one of the most level-headed guys in the house.

Possible: Dean Unglert

The one thing that’s working against the super cute startup recruiter is his age — he just turned 26. Still, he seems mature beyond his years, and viewers are loving his relationship with Rachel. Plus, Ben Higgins was a young Bachelor, and people loved him!

Shoo-In: Peter Kraus

There’s really no one who holds a candle to Peter in this bunch: He’s a little older at 31 (marriage material!), a successful business owner of his own fitness company, and an incredibly handsome former male model. Not to mention, he’s a small-town Wisconsin boy who appears to have a heart of gold.
