‘Married at First Sight’ Alum Nick Pendergrast’s Girlfriend Is Pregnant with Twins
He found love in a hopeless place.
According to People, the twins are due in February.
“We are shocked, excited and feeling blessed all at the same time,” said Nick.
Thank you @people for the honest and exciting story (link in bio) about @heatheryerrid and Is two miracles! Its nothing short of a blessing when a woman is told she cant have kids and then becomes pregnant with #twins Its still early but we are so excited we couldnt hide it any longer. Sometimes the most difficult roads lead us to our greatest joy! #mafs #marriedatfirstsight #love #life #twindad
The AfterBuzz TV host is nine weeks along and has not found out sexes of their babies yet.
“I am most nervous about taking care of two at one time! Also, being a supportive partner to Heather all at the same time, it’s overwhelming,” Nick said about the arrival.
“I met the most genuine, empathetic woman and fell madly in love with her," the reality star said.
"I am most excited about Heather getting her energy back and finally being able to explore California. It will be even more fun doing it with our two new babies!”
Nick separated from his wife in January.
The two met on Married at First Sight Season 4 and finalized their divorce in April.
Understandably, Sonia is not happy about the news.
She took to Twitter to release some pent up anger about her ex's baby reveal.
Wish Heather n Nick well but I have a right to b irate 4 many things n tweet what I want! This is my twitter(well the network but ya know)Sonia Granados (@sonia_mafs) July 13, 2017
Fans insinuated that Nick must have gotten with Heather while he was still with Sonia, but he made sure to shut that down quickly on Twitter.
Say what you will to make your day more exciting. This is #inaccurate and Sonia knows that too. Babies are miracles. Focus on thatNick Pendergrast (@nick_mafs) July 13, 2017
Nick didn't meet Heather, a love and relationship coach, until after the separation.
“She teaches people about ‘self-cess.’ Attaining success and stability by your own efforts on your own terms. All the advice and guidance I was getting at the time was becoming disingenuous. She seemed like a breath of fresh air.”
"Heather's message and her light seemed to spark something in me that I hadn’t felt in a really long time,” he told People.
And after speaking virtually for three months, they met in person in May and instantly fell in love.
Congrats to the happy couple.
Married at First Sight Season 5 airs Thursdays at 9 p.m. ET on Lifetime.
