Sorry, Prince and Blanket! Paris Jackson Was Michael Jackson’s Favorite Child
Michael Jackson was the King of Pop, so it’s only fitting Paris Jackson was treated like a princess around her father.
The teenager, who lost her dad almost eight years ago, feels lucky because she was his only daughter.
“I wasn't around a lot of other girls. When I was a kid, I was with my dad and my two brothers,” she said to Harper’s Bazaar.
“Growing up, I was treated as the favorite because I was the only girl. I was the princess; I was perfect in my dad’s eyes.”
The “Thriller” singer had three children: Prince, 19, Paris, 18, and 15-year-old Blanket.
Though she stayed out of the spotlight for most of her life, the budding starlet is now looking to make a name for herself in Hollywood.
Paris also plans to use her voice to speak out on issues that are important to her.
“I know there are a lot of people who would feel very blessed to be in my position, so I want to use it for important things.”
She’s young and has spent most of her life under constant scrutiny, but the blonde beauty has good perspective on her situation.
“You’re on their mind – how is that a bad thing? Doesn’t matter if they’re saying good or bad things about you. They’re thinking about you enough to write about you,” she continued.
“You just can’t care… Not everybody is going to be happy with what you do. If you’re not happy with what you’re doing, that’s a problem. If you’re happy, who gives a f—k?”
Preach, girl. We can’t wait to see what you do next, Paris!
