Paris Jackson Gets Tattoo to Honor Memory of Late Father Michael Jackson
Paris Jackson got inked with a tribute to her late father, the King of Pop, Michael Jackson.
Today is the 8th anniversary of Michael Jackson's death.
The 'Thriller' singer passed away on June 25, 2009.
The model posted a photo to Instagram on June 23 to show off her new tattoo. The tattoo is the word “Applehead,” and it's featured on her left foot.
"Applehead" was a term of endearment Paris and friends of Michael would call him. He explained this in an interview for Fun at Neverland.
Paris captioned the photo of her new ink with, "With every step I take, you lift my foot and guide me forward. Love you." She closed it with an apple emoji.
Paris's brother, Prince Jackson, also has a tattoo to pay tribute to their father.
Paris recently opened up in an interview with Harper’s Bazaar about her relationship with her father.
"When I was a kid, I was with my dad and my two brothers," Paris said. "Growing up, I was treated as the favorite because I was the only girl. I was the princess; I was perfect in my dad's eyes."
We miss the King of Pop as well. Rest in peace MJ.
