Is Alison Changing Too Much on ‘Pretty Little Liars’ Season 6?
Alison DiLaurentis has been part of the fabric of Pretty Little Liars since day one, even though we thought she was dead for several seasons. However, she's changed a lot during Season 6, and it sounds like her transformation is far from complete. The problem? We're not sure we like the direction she's headed.
NEWS: The New PLL Villain Is "More Lethal" Than Ever!
Alison's appeal has always been her ambiguity. She's always loved the Liars, yes, but she was also willing to manipulate them to her own ends. She could be the best friend in the world — and the worst. That's the Ali we fell in love with; as scary as she was appealing.

On Season 6, though, she started leaning way, way, way to the side of good, and it seems like that's only getting stronger once we take the five year time jump. As we see in the sneak peek of the first five minutes of the winter premiere, the girl who used to hold a grudge like no other has now forgiven her sister entirely for, you know, stalking and harassing her and her friends for years. The Ali we used to know would probably have gotten even instead.
Plus, Sasha Pieterse recently dished to HollywoodLife.com about her character's upcoming romance with Dr. Rollins, which she described as a "love story" which changes [Ali] for the better."
NEWS: PLL Creator's New Bella Thorne Drama Picked Up!
If this were real life, we'd be jumping for joy over Ali's reformation. But in TV land, we're worried this former mean girl has gotten so watered down, she's not worth watching anymore.
Let's hope we're wrong!
