The Pretty Little Liars Season 6 winter premiere was not messing around. In fact, it had a twist so epic, we never even considered it!

The episode centered around Alison DiLaurentis (well, technically the court) calling the Liars back to Rosewood so they could speak on Charlotte's behalf. Why? Because Ali wanted her sister to finally be let out of the mental hospital she's been stuck in for the last five years.
It turns out, that was a deadly idea.

The Liars had very mixed feelings about claiming to no longer be scared of the woman formerly known as "A", but only Aria spoke against her, and the judge decided to let Charlotte go.
