These days, singer, songwriter, and actress Raquel Castro is tearing it up as Marisol, one of the members of girl group Ménage a Trois on Empire, but fans of The Voice might remember her from her time on Team Christina during the hit singing show's very first season.

Wetpaint recently sat down with Raquel to talk Empire (which you can see here), and we also got her to dish on what it was like to be part of the early version of a reality show that became such a smash hit.

In the video above, Raquel explains why she always knew The Voice was going to be big, and what she learned from competing on TV at the age of just 16. Plus, she tells us all about her music career now, and more!
