‘RHONY’s Josh Taekman Apologizes For Ashley Madison Account — Kristen Responds!
Kristen Taekman has finally spoken out following the news that husband Josh Taekman was part of the Ashley Madison leak. The Real Housewives of New York star took to Twitter to address fans in the afternoon of August 25.
Thank you all so much for your kind words and support.Kristen Taekman (@KristenTaekman) August 25, 2015
So she didn't exactly get into the specifics of the scandal, but at least she's in good spirits, all things considered. Sounds like Kristen's got some great friends, family, and fans around her during this tough time. Hang in there, girl!
We hate to say it, but it was only a matter of time before one of our beloved Bravolebrities was affected by the Ashley Madison leak. The latest celeb revealed as a user of the extramarital affair site is Real Housewives of New York star Kristen Taekman’s husband, who broke his silence on August 25.
Josh apologized in a statement Tuesday, saying, “I signed up for the site foolishly and ignorantly with a group of friends and I deeply apologize for any embarrassment or pain I have brought to my wife and family. We both look forward to moving past this and getting on with our lives."
The 46-year-old entrepreneur initially denied the claims, telling the Daily Mail he “had no knowledge” of any account under his name. The site was first to report the news, maintaining Josh spent thousands on the account and making 62 paid transactions. It should be noted the father of two has not admitted to stepping out on Kristen, but reports say the model Housewife could be driven to end their marriage after this latest news.
"Kristen is embarrassed by this entire situation," an E! News insider maintains. "They have had their problems in the past but worked hard on them. This could be the final straw and the end of their marriage."
Kristen and Josh, who have been married for 10 years, are currently in L.A. for his company EBOOST’s press tour and the blonde beauty has yet to speak out on social media or otherwise about the whole ordeal. Our guess? The couple will keep this private from here on out, considering they stopped showing Josh on RHONY after he appeared on Kristen’s first season. The couple’s on-screen disputes didn’t sit well with viewers.
Kristen did, however, step out looking happy with pal Tori Spelling on Tuesday, with the two reality stars taking a jog around Calabasas. Considering the Beverly Hills, 90210 star just went through her own public scandal last year after husband Dean McDermott's infidelity, this seems like a good confidante for Kristen right now!
Meanwhile, the Taekmans aren’t the only reality couple in the middle of this mess. Jersey Shore star Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi’s husband Jionni Lavalle is also rumored to have had an account with the site, and Josh Duggar was revealed as a user just last week.
