Serena Williams and Alexis Ohanian’s Swanky Honeymoon Is Literally Your Dream Vacation
What comes after the swanky, A-list wedding? The swanky, A-list honeymoon, obviously.
Newlyweds Serena Williams and Alexis Ohanian enjoyed a tropical getaway after becoming Mr. and Mrs., and the trip had basically everything you could ever want in a honeymoon, from a private villa to sweeping sea views.
Don't worry, it's okay to be jealous.
The tennis champ and the Reddit founder officially got hitched in New Orleans on November 16, just over two months after the birth of their first child, daughter Alexis Olympia.
The Beauty and the Beast themed wedding was filled to the brim with famous guests, including Kim Kardashian, Eva Longoria, and Beyoncé herself!
After the festvities, the new parents enjoyed some quiet alone time on the private Bahamian island of Kamalame Cay thanks to Booking.com.
The stars stayed in a "four-bedroom villa called Magnolia, located 100 feet from the beach," a source told Page Six.
This particular destination is so deserted, in fact, it's only reachable by helicopter or private ferry, and there are only 27 villas and bungalows on the entire island!
And the Ohanians kept plenty busy — in addition to indulging in a couple's massage, their villa boasted an oceanside tennis court on which the 36-year-old practiced, because of course.
The site reports the secluded villa also has a “20-foot peak ceilings,” an “open concept, living-dining space,” and a terrace that is for sure bigger than your entire apartment.
And as you can imagine, a vacay like this doesn't come cheap.
The accomodations in which they stayed for a week cost a minimum of $3,300 per night, and getting to the island is an additional $2,000 or so each way. Yowza.
The bride shared a video montage showing off the accomodations from their romantical honeymoon, so watch below if you want to see how the other half lives.
