Once Upon a Time Synopsis: Season 3, Episode 9 — “Save Henry”

Now that young Henry (Jared Gilmore) has taken it upon himself to hand over the heart of the truest believer to the evil Peter Pan (Robbie Kay), our favorite gaggle of Storybrooke heroes are on a mission to “Save Henry.” In Season 3, Episode 9 of Once Upon a Time, we’re going to see The Charmings & Co. attempt to intervene before Pan rises to his full Big Bad status.

In a newly-released synopsis for the December 1 episode, the race is on to save the annoying adolescent. And since this episode is Henry-centric, you’re in for a big treat: We’re going to get to see just how Henry came to live with Regina (Lana Parrilla) in the Storybrooke of the past. This is a question fans have been waiting for an answer to for a while now, since it's pretty unclear how Gold (who supposedly didn't have his memories at the time) managed to find Henry and get him to Storybrooke when the town didn't exist to the outside world.

Here's the full synopsis:

While Henry's life hangs in the balance, the race is on to stop Pan from gaining full magical powers from the heart of the truest believer. Meanwhile, in Storybrooke of the past, Regina decides to fill a void in her life and, with Mr. Gold's help, sets out to adopt a baby.
