Tamar Braxton Gets Her Own Daytime Talk Show Amid ‘The Real’ Firing (VIDEO)

The Real may be done with Tamar Braxton, but Tamar isn’t done with daytime TV.

During a radio interview on the Steve Harvey Morning Show with the R&B singer, Steve Harvey revealed he will be working to produce a TV show with the 38-year-old mother of one — just weeks after her scandalous firing from the FOX series.

Before the Family Feud host shared the great news, the Love & War singer explained she learned of her termination (which will be shown on the June 2 episode of Braxton Family Values Season 5) through her husband, Vincent Herbert.

NEWS: Was Tamar Fired From The Real For Bad Behavior?

“Vince made a call because he wanted to … talk about glam for Essence Festival. And literally — this is verbatim what he told me — she was like, ‘Oh I’ve been meaning to call you,’” she recalled, adding, “and then went into we’re not going to have her back for the panel or whatever.”

“He just looks distraught or confused … and he was just like, ‘I think you got fired, I think,’” she continued, later describing the feeling as  “Honestly, my heart sunk into my shoes.”

Despite the scandal, Tamar continued to maintain a positive attitude and even expressed how “happy” she was in her first post since the debacle (where she also tackled her “shady” comments about her former co-workers).

We’re glad to hear that Tay Tay has landed on her feet and she won’t be gone from daytime TV for too long!

Congrats, Tamar!
