5 Fake ‘The Vampire Diaries’ Spin-Offs We’d Totally Watch

We already have The Originals but we would totally go for another The Vampire Diaries spin-off — or, you know, a ton of them.

It seems as though we’re at a time in Hollywood where sequels, spin-offs, and revivals are the norm so we took it upon ourselves to think of TVD characters and stories we want to see get told.

Check out our five ideas for TVD spin-offs and what they’d cover:

All in the Heretic Family

By the end of Season 7, just one of Lily Salvatore’s heretic family members is left alive — isn’t Valerie Tulle super lucky? — but that doesn’t mean we aren’t interested in knowing more about them.

A lot of time passed while the makeshift brood was trapped in their prison world and a show exploring that could be interesting.

Have you ever wondered what the other people in Mystic Falls are like? We focus a lot on our main cast of characters, but there are presumably plenty of folks in the Virginian hamlet worth watching each week.

How about we round up a couple of interesting figures, make them throw dramatic dinner parties, and let the cameras roll? Yes please!

Hello From the Other Side

Inspired by Adele’s hit “Hello,” we need a show that explores what exactly is going on on the other side — where supernatural beings go when they die.

Sure, the dimension has collapsed as of the Season 5 finale, but some of our favorite characters are trapped over there and there has to be something going on, right?

The Young and the (Not) Restless Elena Gilbert

Have you ever wondered what Nina Dobrev’s Elena Gilbert is dreaming while she pretends to be Sleeping Beauty for Bonnie Bennett’s entire remaining lifespan?

The brunette beauty is sure to be experiencing some crazy things during her magically-induced coma so a show exploring those occurrences would be great and would provide unique stories each episode.

Band of Salvatore Brothers

While Band of Brothers was about WWII and metaphorical brothers, Band of Salvatore Brothers would focus on Damon Salvatore and Stefan Salvatore during the Civil War.

We’ve gotten glimpses of this time period throughout the show’s glorious flashbacks but there’s an endless amount of stories to be told to get audiences acquainted with the bros in the 1860’s!

The Vampire Diaries Season 8 premieres Friday, October 21, at 8 p.m. ET on The CW.
