The Voice Season 9 Winner Is Jordan Smith! (UPDATE)

This may go down in history as the least climactic win on The Voice. Your Season 9 champ? Jordan Smith from Team Adam Levine — duh!

We all pretty much knew this season was Jordan’s for the taking when he nabbed a four-chair turn with “Chandelier” during the Blind Auditions. He has dominated the charts for weeks and never faltered.

We also knew he’d win this morning when we woke up to see the Lee University student had nabbed four of the Top 10 spots on the iTunes charts.

Still, we couldn’t be happier for the Kentucky native, who over the course of this season made all four coaches run out of synonyms for “amazing.” Despite the unending praise, this choirboy has remained as humble and genuine as he was in his debut.

Though their loss was a foregone conclusion, we hope tonight isn’t the last we hear of the remaining three finalists, Barrett Baber and Emily Ann Roberts from Blake Shelton’s team, and Jeffrey Austin of Team Gwen Stefani.

Were you surprised to see Jordan come out on top, or were you betting on it like we were? Share your thoughts on our Facebook page or shout us out on Twitter!
