Trista and Ryan Sutter’s HGTV Show — How Did It Do?
If you loved Trista and Ryan Sutter on the inaugural season of The Bachelorette, you were probably all over their HGTV show when the first episode aired last Sunday. In Rocky Mountain Reno, the couple helps families renovate homes in the Colorado area. So how did it do? The ratings are in, and it seems like it’s a success!
According to TVbythenumbers, Rocky Mountain Reno pulled in 1.5 million viewers and a 0.4 rating — which, for a network like HGTV, is pretty darn impressive. In fact, in the same day, more established shows like Property Brothers didn’t do as well, so we’d say the new show is on the right track.
And if you ask Trista and Ryan, they’re thrilled with the response they’re getting from the show. “#favepartofday = feeling the #RockyMountainReno love!!” Trista tweeted.
“Huge thanks to everyone who watched #RockyMountainReno yesterday on @hgtv,” Ryan added. “We had a blast showing off #ColoRADo. Hoping for more chances.”
So will they get more chances? It seems likely that, after that kind of premiere, HGTV would want to order a full season of the show. At least, we hope they do — Trista and Ryan seem to be super excited about it, and we’d love the chance to see more of them on reality TV again!
Congrats on an awesome premiere, you two! Fingers crossed there’s more Rocky Mountain Reno in our futures!
